The EZ Frost cupcake frosting machine was invented by Lewis Belknap. Lewis Belknap had a goal of having some type of industrial bakery equipment that would assist in the efficiency of frosting operations. Two things he wanted to accomplish with this professional bakery equipment was to help the employees whose hands grew tired form the repetitive motion and squeezing of the frosting bag – the other sought after goal was to speed up the process of refilling the bag and stop the manual fill up process. The EZ Frost accomplished the initial goals of helping the hands of bakers and speeding up the refilling process. What was not seen in hindsight was the shorter learning curve for new employees in cupcake bakeries. The EZ Frost also proved to save time and money. Time was saved through easy clean ups and avoiding unnecessary reloading, while money was saved by avoiding wasting any frosting. With the extreme success of the EZ Frost in the baking industry, Lewis Belknap has decided to dedicate his time and effort in providing and perfecting this tool for businesses and the hard workers that work in them.
