What a fiasco. Let's start with the fact that they started selling (and taking) things in the days before the contracted date for the estate sale. I walked in unexpectedly and saw staff leaving with bags full of clothing. Expensive stuff was priced for pennies on the dollar and worthless stuff (cheap framed prints) were priced for hundreds apiece. A dining table and chairs that was specifically excluded in the contract from the sale was included and an antique dining table and chairs was excluded. I could go on and on. There were items that were supposed to be sold that then suddenly I was assured would sell "at the next sale" that now I learn have been mysteriously donated and a $10k rug is apparently in storage waiting for me to pick it up after I've moved hours away. Mess. Run, don't walk, elsewhere.
