Upon coming into the Japanese Cuisine restaurant ... they opened up at 11 AM in which I arrived at 11:05. Looking for when the last health inspection was I didn’t see the certificate on the wall. (Previous experience, there was a roach on the wall when waiting for our food). However, I always check to make sure it is clean and sanitized after that incident. Especially if they serve raw food. The waitress seemed ill, due to the fact she kept sniffling when trying to take my drink order. I didn’t think nothing of it until I heard her coughing and when I looked up I heard her conversing with the gentleman making the sushi and not covering her mouth coughing all over my food while talking with him. I wanted to see if she could ask him to make the food over but she didn’t. I wanted to ask for something else and when the food was ready it was placed on the sushi bar and while I’m watching the waitress I saw her blow her nose then proceeded to grab my food and bring it over to me. Without washing her hands. While looking at her, she placed my food down and I asked her “Ma’am did you just blow yourself nose and without washing your hands before you served me my food?” She smiled and said yes excuse me and walked away. With this virus going around you can’t be to safe When I asked the gentleman making the sushi to come over he proceeded to tell me if you don’t like it you can leave I’m not making this over again. And I asked him “put yourself in my shoes of your our eating, and you saw someone blow their nose and serve your food would you eat it ? He didn’t answer me and just walked away As a paying customer, this kind of behavior is unacceptable. And if you want the business to continue to thrive then talking to customers like this is unacceptable and I would advise people to stay away from here and just not eat here in general. The boy who makes the sushi probably hates his job and is rude every time. Just find another sushi spot. This food is not worth getting sick over nor being talked to with no respect and fell as if he is entitled to being rude for no reason
