Dennis Schaeffer's love of motorcycling includes both road and off road motorcycles. A group of fellas began riding off road on a Sunday during the winter months in the early 70's. At that time the Harley-Davidson product line included a 250 and 350 Sprint that the fellas rode on off road trails on winter Sundays.When the Sprint became unavailable, Dennis looked for another motorcycle to ride on a Sunday and chose the KTM. He still owns a 1995 KTM complete with all the off-road gear a rider needs. With Route 61 populated on weekends by trucks and trailers loaded with off road motorcycles traveling to their destinations, the location of Schaeffer's MotorSports makes a great spot to sell KTM's and the supporting parts, gear and other off-road products. In addition, the orange and black KTM's are a perfect match to the Harley-Davidson orange and black motorcycles that the Schaeffer's have been selling for over 40 years.
