ACQ Holdings is your modern day 'payday loan' servicer. Do not use them for any type of loan. I went through the hiring process with them and they think that are best thing since sliced bring and that they can bring in a skilled accountant with 5 years of experience and pay them $55K. They obviously think that they have some sort of 'special' business or opportunity for any candidate that walks through their doors. They are sorely mistaken if they think that they can have their cake and eat it too when it comes to hiring an accountant for the position that they are looking for. It is time for them to join the real world and realize that if they want a skilled accountant they will have to bring a lot more cash to the table in regards to salary. At the same time you have to think are they even running a legitimate business? As an accountant you don't want to find yourself stuck in a position that is ethically questionable which I believe is either happened or will happen in the near future. Their business model is to raise capital from those that need money and keep them down in the same place that they found them, collect the interest with no hope for the borrower to be able to pay off the principal balance. They are at best a mimic of the fraud happening at Wells Fargo, but at a much smaller scale. Don't borrow from them, nor should you ever consider working for them.
