I have earned the reputation as "The Clerk Who Works" - and with your help hope to bring that service and experience to the Macomb County Clerk's Office. Having been the City Clerk in Warren for the past 8 years, I have successfully conducted 23 Federal, State and Local elections, modernized technology in the office, improved efficiency at polling locations and saved the city more than $1 M dollars. I have completed 20 State Certified Clerk education classes through the Michigan Secretary of State Bureau of Elections and a recent federal government audit rated Warren election equipment oversight - 'OUTSTANDING'. Prior to serving as City Clerk, I served the residents of Warren and Center Line as State Representative. My record of fighting for working families, seniors and public education earned me "Democrat of the Year" by the Warren/Center Line Democrats and I was instrumental in bringing $1 Billion in new investments and 1,000 new local jobs to Macomb County. I co-sponsored "No Reason" absentee ballot voting legislation, voted against the gas tax increase and state sales tax increase and NEVER voted for a pay increase. I am the only candidate for Macomb County Clerk and Register of Deeds who has ever served the taxpayers as a Clerk. My record as Clerk is Proven and 'Unmatched'!
