Anitha Pachagounder (Founder) Anitha wanted to start CareerFlex because she felt that there were very few ""good"" job options available for people who had taken time away from their careers and wanted to return with more flexibility. She personally understands the need to feel valued in a work place and to be spending time doing something that you enjoy rather than just punching the clock. Having two school aged children, she wants both of them to be proud of their mom. Anitha wants to be the soccer mom, wants to be active at their school, wants to help them with homework, and wants to tuck them in at night. At the same time, she wants a job that she finds rewarding.Anitha graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) with a double major in Marketing and Human Resource Management from the Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba. She earned a Master’s in International Management from Portland State. Anitha started her professional career at Ford Credit Canada Leasing Limited, then worked as a Program Manager for a nonprofit organization in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since having children, she has freelanced as a Marketing Specialist with several small start-ups. Jenna Kuhl (Founder) ​Jenna has helped co-found CareerFlex in order to meet the demands and challenge to balance career and home life. She found that often companies were not providing the flexibility she needed to be at home when her children were sick, to attend a school event that was important to her and her children, or to be able to take and pick them up from their sports activities. The guilt that weighed on her was overwhelming, but still wanting to work and use the experience that she had, she struggled to find a company that could offer her what she needed. She wished for something like CareerFlex every day. Jenna Kuhl has a long list of experience within public relations and marketing. She worked in the public relations industry for over ten years, at both agencies and at large corporations, working with leaders in the technology space as well as growing start-ups. She transitioned to marketing and has held management positions at Hitachi Data Systems, Proofpoint, and NDS Surgical Imaging.
