I called them today for a quote on a job. They said that they charge up front fee because it prequalifies a potential client. Anyone that is not willing to commit to a minor assessment fee, is most likely going to waste their time. When I said that other plumbers do not charge the assessment fee. They said that my unwillingness to pay the assessment fee is a huge red flag to them. This has been my experience.
