Worst Air Conditioning Company I've Ever Dealt With. Very Rude Receptionist Who Doesn't Try To Listens To The Customers Problem But Only Makes Excuses About Their Shotty Work. Air Connection Mechanical is the vendor for American Home Shield. I called them about one of my units was not cooling. American Home Shield contracted Air Connection Mechanical to come out and service my unit. They came out and recommended replacing the condenser. The next week when the parts came in Air Connection Mechanical came back out and replaced it, however two days later the unit was not cooling again. Air Connection came back out and put more freon in it and then said that the coil inside the air handler need cleaning but they didn't clean the coils and that I would have to call American Home Shield to report it. Two days later I had a different A/C company come out to clean the coil and he informed me that the unit had a leak somewhere in the system which is why it's not cooling any longer. He said that Air Connection Mechanical had installed the wrong condenser and didn't run a check for leaks nor did they vacuumed the lines before installing the new condenser thus contaminated the new condenser. I called Air Connection Mechanical with the repair guy standing beside me explaining to her what was going on. She didn't want to hear anything and swore up and down that it was nothing they did wrong and made every excuse in the world why my unit was not working. She kept telling me to call American Home Shield and that they wasn't going to fix their screw up. She was rude, abnoxious and nasty. I contacted American Home Shield to report the problem and informed them to never send Air Connection Mechanical back to do any work for me. I would never recommend Air Connection Mechanical to do any work for anyone. The Receptionist must be the owners wife because she is definitely not qualified to be in that position with her nasty attitude. The tech speak very little English and I don't think they are licensed or certified to work on air conditioners. STAY AWAY FROM AIR CONNECTION MECHANICAL AT ALL COSTS. They have no good reviews. i wish I had researched this company before dealing with them. Six weeks later my air conditioning is still not repaired. I would also not recommend American Home Shield to continue to do business with AIR CONNECTION MECHANICAL. They make AHS look extremely bad. If I could have given them zero stars I most definitely would have.
