Our mission is to educate and empower North Carolina children, youth and their families to make choices that improve positive health behaviors. The Poe Center focuses on reducing childhood obesity, injury prevention, reducing the spread of disease, preventing drug and alcohol use among youth, enhancing nutrition, teen pregnancy prevention and ending tobacco use. The Poe Center for Health Education located in Raleigh, NC would like to invite you to bring your students to one of our 32 captivating health education programs. We have five interactive theaters to help participants learn about dental health, drug prevention, family life, general health and nutrition, and physical activity.
