In 2020 we hired Harden Ent. of South Bend WA. to replace our septic system and remodel our bathroom. We varified Harden Ent. is a licensed contractor and they said they could perform all our work except the electrical as they were not a electrical contractor. All the plumbing was done incorrectly and not to code. We found out afterwards they are not licensed plumbers. We turned them in to WA LnI and they have been cited. There is not a single thing in the bathroom done correctly. The floor is so uneven it is a tripping hazard, wainscoting is not level. Uneven walls, bubbles in the tile grout. A large hole left in the foundation under the tub. The county approved plans for the septic system were not completely followed. The main feed pipe to the septic tank was left loose allowing sewage to leak into the backyard. The french drain was installed incorrectly and does not drain anything.The bathroom will have to be completely torn down to the studs again to correct the issues. We spent over $40k for sub-standard work that will cost us $34k to repair. When we refused to pay the remainder of our bill Harden Inc. offered a discount if we would sign an NDA. Makes me wonder how many NDA,s they have out there. Now Harden Ent. will say the reason we are so dissatisfied is due to my brain injury (which they said in court) and that they successfully sued us in court for their remaining payment which is true. However it does not change the fact that Harden Ent. performs incorrect, sub standard work and performs plumbing without a license. We have hard evidence in the form of photos, documents, and inspection reports to prove it. Do not hire this business, you will be sorry.
