This contractor is the WORST I have ever met or ever done business with! He quoted us a wine wall. It was to be done in 8 weeks. He began his work in August of 2019, and was not even close to completion by Thanksgiving. He raved about other jobs he was doing while doing ours. He would send sub contractors to our house as infrequent as once every 10 days. He then tried to do the work himself. To begin, he sent sub contractors to our home that were supposed to do jobs as per his contract. The flooring company came in and ruined our hard wood flooring. We had to have it replaced and redone on our own at our own expense. He sent a painter in to paint ONE room and charged us $1,600, that didn't even have straight edges and we had to have them come back to do. He got a quote from a great refrigeration company, but decided to go with a cheaper version for himself. The refrigeration unit was installed incorrectly, and still is not running well nearly 8 months after install. It creates humidity, doesn't hold temperature and we've been told it will cost $7,500 to replace. The primary purpose of this wine wall was the wood work. The wood work is awful! it isn't symmetrical at all, there are hundreds of deficiencies. When they were pointed out to him, he said he couldn't fix them at all. He then sent a "woodworking" guy to our house to repair it, within minutes even his own guy said it would have to be completely removed and redone in order to be fixed. After nearly 6 months that the job isn't complete. Flooring that had to be replaced, deficient lighting, and refrigeration that was installed incorrectly, the owner of this company had his sub contractors threaten to put liens on my home for money they haven't collected from Joe. AND he has now sued me for the remaining balance. Stay as far away from this company or anyone affiliated with Joe Cervenka as possible. He is the worst business owner or contractor that I've ever worked with and he absolutely will do a job for you that would cut corners and use the cheapest material and sub contractors possible. This job has never been completed and now he has tried to sue me for the remaining balance even though the job isn't complete.
