We bought a house back in July 2019 and Stringer did the work on the roof for the company remodeling the house. Fast forward to October 2020-the fascia board is falling apart (not sure if this was their work), but nonetheless decided to have a roofing company come look at the problem. Well, though the fascia board wasn't done correctly, the main issue is with the roof in its entirety. There is no flashing where there needs to be, there are areas where the shingles weren't put on correctly so water can leak through, the edging on the corners isn't correct, the shingles aren't hanging off the roof enough to help run off from pooling into the roof. The list goes on. So much so that the company we had look at it won't even do repairs, but think the best option is a whole new roof. I contacted Stringer in hopes they would take responsibility of the poorly executed workmanship-they did not and it took many emails to get just a couple sentences of response. Even went as far to say that the other companies just want our money the companies who came out were thorough and recommended my friends and family, not anyone trying to get our money. They clearly only care about "passing inspections" and not the work itself or the customers they serve. I would NOT suggest using this company-even if they are inexpensive-you'll like just have to get the work redone in the years to come.
