I would strongly advise against using RainPro in Massapequa. We scheduled a $50 winterization service and called ahead to let them know we wouldn't be home. They told us it was fine to leave the check under the mat and confirmed the total would be $50. Afterward, we received a bill for $4.31 in tax. When I called to clarify, Gerard was incredibly rude and defensive. He refused to come pick up the tax and insisted we mail another check, with no apology or explanation for not including it in the original quote. He also implied that he should've charged us more and "couldn't believe" I was even asking for clarification. The principle is simple: if you're quoting a customer a price, give the full amount including tax, and communicate clearly. Dealing with rude, unprofessional people over a few dollars is not worth it. Avoid this company at all costs.
