If you are a Truck Driver DO NOT miss your appointment!! I booked a load through JB Hunt picking up at the Cooper Tire facility in Grand Prairie, TX on August 22nd. My Driver had a few hours against him but not enough to worry about (So I thought), it took Cooper just under 5 HOURS to get him loaded! Our appointment was for 0800 on August 23rd the following morning but due to Hours of Service he missed the appointment arriving at 1100 which was 1 hour after they stop receiving. The Receiver then told us that they would not accept the load until the following Monday!!!! Nothing we could do about it, I tried every avenue that I could think of, but to no avail, so much for the Driver's paycheck for the week!
