Dr. Asem Abdeljalil is a board-certified, fellowship-trained pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine specialist with Jackson County Pulmonary Medical Group in Independence, Mo. He is affiliated with Centerpoint Medical Center. Dr. Abdeljalil has more than 15 years of experience treating a wide variety of pulmonary and sleep conditions and currently serves as an associate professor of pulmonary medicine. Dr. Abdeljalil is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Gregory L. Hummel is a board-certified, orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in hand surgery who practices with Centerpoint Orthopedics and is affiliated with Centerpoint Medical Center. Dr. Hummel offers more than 30 years of experience in general orthopedics, and an extensive background in total joint replacements. His specific areas of clinical interest include total joint replacement, hand surgery, arthroscopic surgery for shoulder and rotator cuff tears, knee arthroscopy, including ACJ reconstructions, as well as general orthopedics. Dr. Hummel was selected as one of Ingram magazine's Heroes in Healthcare 2019.

Dr. Velakaturi received his medical degree from the University of Kansas and completed his residency at the Kansas University Medical Center. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the AMA
