Owner gave us a price on a job, we relied on that quote to purchase a home, owner continued stringing us along, telling us he applied for permits and was checking on the status of the permits, gave us a start date, we moved out to allow enough driveway space for his workers and he NEVER SHOWED, CALLED, EMAILED OR TEXTED TO SAY HE WASN'T COMING. According to the Building Department, the owner, Chris, NEVER even applied for the permits! And did not even have the courtesy to tell us he wasn't coming and let us MOVE out of the home. Now, he refuses to respond at all. In our opinion, he scammed us from the beginning by working with a real estate agent to give a quote he never intended to abide by. Run screaming!!
