Matthew Forsthoefel, MD attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. He completed an internship in internal medicine at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC, and then proceeded on to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC to complete his residency in Radiation Oncology. Dr. Forsthoefel is a member of several committees and professional memberships, including the American Society for Radiation Oncology and the American College of Radiology. He has contributed to numerous peer reviewed publications, as well as delivered several presentations. Dr. Forsthoefel treats a wide variety of cancers, and he is committed to providing quality, personalized care to all his patients. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking and cooking. He currently resides in Louisville, KY with his fiancée.
