Our story began in 2008 inside a 160sq ft drive - thru in Beaverton, Oregon. Founded by family, rooted in hospitality, and driven by a desire to bring light to the grey PNW mornings, we set out to build something simple but meaningful - a place where coffee could fuel connection.

Cascadia stands for the spirit of independent thinkers and dreamers who see life as an adventure and say I can do that. Our name refers to the majestic Cascade mountain range of the Pacific Northwest as well as the adventuring spirit of the folks who live here. To us, coffee is more than a beverage. It's a trusted companion that makes every day a little more extraordinary. In the same way a hike to a crystal-clear lake has the power to clear the mind and lighten the spirit, a great cup of coffee has the power to warm and focus us for the adventure ahead.

Our goal is great food, service, and coffee. To that end, our food is made from scratch using fresh local ingredients. We have many unique recipes many of which are vegetarian, vegan, and/or gluten-free. All of us are highly trained in the art of restaurant service but if we are really busy we make it easy to help yourself. We are proud to offer several varieties of "Stumptown" coffees & espressos; the best and freshest local coffee available in Portland. Our facility is one-of-a-kind: furnished tastefully with vintage and antique furniture we have a large hospitable space for lounging, studying, and meetings. We have meeting/event space for 50 people. Our walls and shelves are adorned with local art and gifts, and most of the furniture collection around the cafe is available for sale.
