We've pitched three jobs to Joe over the past 7yrs - none of which were simple. 1st job - we wanted to lay a stone floor in the basement - catch was we wanted a visible pathway. We got 4 estimates Old Masonry was the most reasonable one, by far. Apparently making a path is no easy task and that was def reflected in the estimates we got. We jumped on his price and he knocked it out of the ball park. 2nd unusual pitch a few years later- an even harder job. I had pictures of an entryway I had seen - pillars and an archway. Naturally we called Joe back - it was a challenge for him he hadn't done a lot of arches and it's difficult to replicate an image on work that was probably done a hundred years ago - again NOT EASY - we weren't sure we where going to be able to afford it - AGAIN he knocked it out of the park- affordable price and a downright beautiful job- he even improved on the original design which I didn't think was possible. 3rd pitch Now we're in present day - three years later - we're remodeling the kitchen - we love the stone look in a log cabin - can we do the hallway and back of a chimney? Will it look to bulky ? Naturally we call Joe up he gave us honest answers, had good reasonable suggestions and design ideas. We respected his professional opinion and I'll let the pictures tell the rest. Third home run for us - best part is he loves it as much as we do. I'm looking forward to our next project - we want to stone the bottom section of the log cabin and the log garage - a couple of years down the road - but I know we're set with Old Masonry. We've never regretted our decision 7 years ago - we feel pretty lucky to have found a good honest professional contractor that actually calls you back - not an easy task these days. It's like a breath of fresh air - which I highly recommend!
