Jon Gordon will make your audio project stand out from the crowd! Jon is a music and audio engineer/producer with over two decades of experience. He provides first-rate, cost-effective creative and technical services in a personalized and congenial atmosphere. Most recently, he mixed music cues with director Whit Stillman and composer Mark Suozzo for "Damsels in Distress", a new feature film distributed by Sony. He also worked on the sound track for "The New Tenants" a short film by Joachim Back, which won the 2010 OSCAR for Best Short Film. In 2009, he made the Grammy nomination list for engineering on "Listen" a CD by the Our TIme Theatre Co. He has provided creative and technical services to stars like Madonna and Suzanne Vega, and to major corporations such as NBC, ABC, Fox Network, Avon Corp, and Simon & Schuster Audio. Jon began his career as a professional guitarist and was quickly drawn into recording session work. He worked with both Madonna and Suzanne Vega as guitarist, musical director and arranger. Jon is featured as a soloist on three of Miss Vega's US singles, including the Billboard #3 hit, triple Grammy nominee "Luka". He has also toured with Mary Travers and singer/comedienne Christine Lavin. Jon's own compositions in the jingle and library music field are heard world-wide, and have appeared as background music on TV shows like Letterman, American Idol, Oprah, Good Morning America, and Entertainment Tonight, among others. Allout Recording & Entertainment was started in 2003 by Mark King, who is the son of famed Harlem record producer Paul Winley. Mark started out as a hip hop dj in the late 70's, he was known as The Grand Wizard Gangsta. He played music along with grand master flash, Afrika Bambatta back in the early days of hip hop. In 2003 he set out to build a powerhouse of a record label that would stand out from the rest. He had signed two new acts to start the label, Gunz & Glamour the first set of male and female twin rappers, and Da Common Cauze two latin rappers from the Bronx. The label has signed many acts from that time but Gunz & Glamour and Da Common Cauze are the two original acts and are still with the label this day.
