Respectfully Serving Families For Generations. Labby Memorial Funeral Home was built on trust, honesty, and compassion and has remained a family-owned and operated business for over 50 years. The funeral planning staff is dedicated to offering personalized services, recognizing that all families are unique. Every tradition, belief, and custom is celebrated in a dignified and respectful way. Labby Memorial Funeral Home prides itself on being the go-to funeral home for a nearby army base, and they love to honor the lives of those who served our country through Veteran Services and Military Honors. Labby Memorial Funeral Home offers traditional funeral services such as a funeral followed by a burial service. An open-casket format can be presented before the funeral where loved ones can pay their respects to the body, called a viewing or a visitation. Direct cremation is cremation without a ceremony, where many families choose to gather on their own time in an intimate setting. This option is the most economical of all funeral services. You may also choose to hold a memorial ceremony after the cremation, which can look a lot like a funeral but with ashes present instead of the body of the deceased. Another honoring life service that is more casual is a life celebration. Family and friends gather together to celebrate their loved ones in a light atmosphere with music and dancing. Ponder on the personality of the deceased and what they would desire the most. No matter what you choose, remember that all requests will be honored to make the service unique and to your liking. If you have a logistical need for ship-in or ship-out services of the body, the funeral home is ready to assist you. Grief resources are also offered, as they are aware that mourning does not end the moment the funeral is over. Labby Memorial Funeral Home serves Leesville, DeRidder, Anacoco, Hornbeck, Many, Pickering, Rosepine, Merryville, Singer, Longville, and DeQuincy areas. Funeral products can be purchased directly through the home, consisting of caskets, urns, vaults, and memorials and those products are made locally in the USA.
