Joe DeGeorge and Cornerstone Flooring & Remodeling did not install my LVT floors according to the manufacturers installation instructions. The issues I experienced are compounded by severely lackluster communication and many missed appointments. In the rare instances the subcontractors he hired showed up on time (if they showed up at all), they did not follow the installation instructions of the product he recommended and sold and was notified that certain spots on the floor are buckling or peeling up. The people he hired for the job did not mix boxes of tiles as the manufacturer recommends therefore many duplicate boards are laid next to eachother. The recommended placement guidelines were also not followed. The quarter round installation and caulking was amateur. The subcontractors did not clean all of the glue on the floors from installation. Joe agreed to come do a walkthrough to see the issues but never came. Joe DeGeorge with Cornerstone Flooring and Remodeling demonstrated major difficulty proactively contacting me with updates or expectations and has not yet resolved the issues I brought to his attention. I do not recommend using Joe DeGeorge or Cornerstone Flooring and Remodeling. The project was originally completed on 3/29, he was made aware of some issues on 5/3 then sent a detailed list of issues on 5/11 and as of today the issues are still unresolved.
