BoxGiver is a practical and innovative conservation solution that also saves time and money. The production of paper and cardboard leads to alarming deforestation, uses vast amounts of energy and water, contributes to air pollution, and accounts for around 26% of total waste at landfills. At the same time, thousands of plastic factories produce plastic products that are unhealthy for humans, deadly to marine life and may take up to 1,000 years to decompose. BoxGiver allows us all to take action in a sensible and simple way. Although it’s only one step, it’s a big one! We envision a time when we cease being a ‘throw away’ culture; when innovation provides consumers with ample options to take action against waste; and where BoxGiver becomes internationally recognized as a vanguard for practical environmental change.
