Gipe Associates, Inc. is a regionally recognized mechanical, electrical, plumbing and technology engineering firm specializing in planning, design and construction administration for educational, commercial and government entities. Founded in 1977, Gipe Associates, Inc. was established to provide MEP design and engineering services to private industry and public agencies. The organization evolved from two firms under Al Gipe's leadership dating back to 1956. Gipe Associates, Inc. opened its doors in Baltimore and Easton, Maryland with only 4 employees. Since that time, we have grown to 45 employees giving us full capacity to work on any size project. From the start Gipe developed a reputation for designing quality, innovative systems. Almost 40 years later, that reputation is intact as we continue to create quality, forward thinking designs for our valued clients. Gipe Associates, Inc. is in the business of designing High Performance Building Systems. We understand how important energy consumption and conservation is to our clients. Since we “can’t invent water” as one of our engineers stated, we have a responsibility to conserve the world’s natural resources. Our office has been designing geothermal, solar and wind energy systems for a decade. These systems are often categorized as being derived from inexhaustible natural resources. Why not heat and cool your building using “free” energy provided by the earth? Using engineering fundamentals combined with new and innovative techniques we are able to create custom solutions for our clients so that they can sustain comfortable, functional, and maintainable buildings.
