Your Local Trashman is a newly founded business, with a more than experienced team. Our founder, Quentin Young, has worked in the waste management industry for over 7 years. It was during his time as a residential trash service technician/driver that he would often receive requests for bulk item removal. Being that bulk item removal was against his employer’s company policy, he took that as an opportunity to create his own business to service those needs. It was then that he bought his first truck and began junk removal on nights and weekends. Word quickly spread along his route and business picked up quickly. Our name stemmed from initially being used in a negative connotation. An impolite residential client of Quentin’s, while he was still working as a service driver, told him that he was nothing more than a trashman and should just focus on making sure his trash can got picked up on time every week. Rather than let this draw him out of his character, he instead flipped it and used it as empowerment. There’s nothing to be looked down upon about working in waste management and we encourage all of our team members to take pride in all of the services that we provide.
