We opened our doors in 2003 as Jefferson's House of Pies. Initially, we would serve sweet pies along with Crawfish pie, Meat pies and Mom's Chicken and Dumplings. They were all a big hit but nothing would be a bigger hit then when we introduced our Kornbread Sandwich. It wasn't long before making cornbread would be a priority and our popular savory pies had to be sacrificed and taken off our menu. We changed our name to Kitt's Kornbread Sandwich and Pie Bar. Mom's Chicken and Dumplings is still a star feature in our menu and our Soups and Salads, that had been added through the years, are equally popular. We still bake over 15 varieties of pies including a southern favorite, Buttermilk pie and the best bread pudding with amaretto sauce you've ever eaten.
