In 2014, my husband and I decided we were unhappy with the quality and price of commercially available furniture and stumbled upon the Shanty 2 Chic website in search of plans. We are handy people, who just finished our 2nd house flip, and had time on our hands, so we decided there was nothing to lose and started building.
