Perry Dorman is a family and employee-owned business under the leadership of Perry Dorman and Perry Dorman, Jr., sons of the founders. For the past 15 years, we have grown from a small concrete company serving the Carolinas to a major general contractor serving the southeastern United States.
Dorman builds the infrastructure people rely upon. We specialize in building bridges, dams, highways, water and wastewater facilities, industrial and power facilities, and alternative energy (such as solar and biomass) facilities. We self-perform civil, electrical, and mechanical trades on both traditional and more complex alternative delivery projects.
Our mission statement - We are dedicated to superior performance and committed to making a positive difference for our clients, for our communities, and in the lives of our employees - embodies who we are and how we conduct business daily at Perry Dorman.
Dorman approaches every project as a team; partnering with our clients through every step of a project’s process; while maintaining open communication. The result is functional and cost-saving alternatives offered throughout the life of a project. We consistently meet and exceed clients’ expectations by delivering projects on time and under budget. Dorman and its employees perform to the highest standards, establishing long-lasting client relationships who include federal, private, power, governmental, and municipal entities.
Our employees, some of whom have been with us for over 15 years, are the core of the Dorman family and why we are successful. Our employees' physical safety and emotional well-being are primary concerns. We are deeply invested in the success of each employee, offering opportunities for a career at Dorman that includes consistent opportunities for growth and advancement.
In addition to our clients and employees, Dorman’s goal is to make a positive difference in the communities in which we live and work. We put our hard hats down and step away from the job site to get involved with the people in our community. You might find Dorman's employees collecting toys for children, walking to raise money and awareness for cancer, heart disease, and juvenile diabetes research, or hitting the links to support a charitable cause. Beyond our charitable community service events, we partner with diverse groups of local subcontractors and suppliers actively seeking small, local, minority- and female-owned businesses.
