At House of Joppa, we aspire to share the beauty of our One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic faith through updated, refined home decor and gift items. When deciding on the name for their store, Tabitha and Matthew Kidman looked to scripture as a source of inspiration - Acts 9:36-42, specifically. These few short verses tell the story of another Tabitha, from the town of Joppa, who was resurrected by St. Peter in a miraculous turn of events. Upon her revival, Tabitha’s tale spread throughout the region, as people revelled in the beauty and mercy of the Lord and came to believe in Him. As we take our name from Tabitha’s home, House of Joppa aspires to a similar goal. Through our modern, refined Catholic home decor and gift items, we hope to inspire others to immerse themselves in our faith and share in the wealth of beauty the Lord has granted us. Our selection of Catholic wall art, jewelry, candles, paper goods, and more is carefully curated to allow you to showcase your faith with elegance and style.
