My name is Erick and I am the owner of Autodetail DMV. For many years, I have been intrigued by all things auto detailing since I’ve gotten my driver’s license. Like many, I was intrigued by this industry and found myself spending countless hours watching youtube how-tos on how to polish paint, wash a car, restore leather seats, and all things car rejuvenation for leisure. I’ve always fantasized about finding a barn find vehicle that has been put through the wringer and then bringing it back to life. I’ve yet to be presented the opportunity to do this but I’ve done so on many small projects through my detailing career. It all began in April 2020 during the nationwide lockdown. I had previously been working overnight for a dealership as a detailer. Then I received a notice that I had gotten furloughed. As uncertainty and anxiety began to arise, I began to ponder what other activities I could do to take this tragic event and make it into an opportunity. Finally, after six entire years of working overnight did I have the freedom of time and daylight. This is when I decided to take everything that I’ve learned and applied it to this business. I am proficient in the craft and look forward to providing top tier service to all of Northern Virginia and beyond.
