Dr. Alex Mirakian joined Southern Cancer Center in November 2020. Although he is new to the Gulf Coast region, Dr. Mirakian brings over 20 years of clinical oncology experience with him. His training includes stereotactic and intraoperative radiation therapy and brachytherapy fellowships at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas and Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York, as well as residency at Peter MacCallum Cancer Center in his native home of Australia.
