She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Moses Cone Health Systems, affiliated with University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her fellowship in Hematology/ Oncology at the Eastern Carolina University Brody School of Medicine. Dr. Sastry is a member of both the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
