Mr. Rice and paralegal Kendole Woods made a horrible situation the best it possibly could be for me and my children. Mr. Rice is extremely knowledgeable about family law. He never just told me what I wanted to hear, but explained the way things go in family court. I appreciated his honesty, as well as the time he put into my case. I believe Wendy is the name of the lady who answers the phones and she is so sweet and easy to talk to. Mr. Rice took on my case towards the end of the year in 2022. My previous lawyer had allowed my divorce and custody case go on for over two years with no real outcome or solutions, and my case had been passed between 6-8 different judges. When Mr. Rice acquired my case it was messy and complicated, but he managed it with determination for a solution. To have a lawyer who actually listened to my concerns and fought for me and my children was a breath of fresh air! He had my divorce finalized in 3 months, something that my previously lawyer couldn't do in 2 1/2 years! My custody case required A LOT of work and perseverance, but he made sure that in the end the actual best interest of my children was put first. After years of court hearings occurring every three months, and sometimes monthly, we were finally able to halt court proceedings for a year at minimum and hopefully longer! I am so thankful for how Mr. Rice took on and handled my case. He listened to my concerns, worked with integrity and compassion, was reassuring and present during court proceedings, and always fought for our best interest and safety. I am beyond glad I chose Divorce by Design to represent myself and my children in a case that had left me on a stressful and disappointing rollercoaster for years. The family court system is exhausting, but Mr. Rice and his team at Divorce by Design got us through it with the best possible outcome. If you're exhausted and over the family court antics choose Divorce by Design, you won't regret it!
