This was the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. I placed my call with my home warranty and the timeline is as follows: 03/29- initial contact with tech coming out and running test, stated needed part and to be ordered 04/21 - message for Expert Appliance no response 04/26 - message at Expert Appliance no response Called home warranty company, they attempted to call Expert Appliance no answer; sent note to contact them; will attempt to contact again later in the afternoon and next morning; will follow up with me in 24 hours 04/27 - still no response from Expert Appliance; home warranty company escalating and will probably send to another contractor if necessary; message from home warranty company about contact from Expert Appliance 04/28 - text from tech about appointment next day 04/29 - tech told to come back out and run tests again; need to order new board; should only take about a week 05/06 - texted tech to see if part ordered and estimated delivery date; no response 05/09 - message at Expert Appliance no response 05/10 - message at Expert Appliance no response 05/17 - message at Expert Appliance no response Also texted tech to see if he would respond 05/18 - call into home warranty company; attempted to contact contractor no answer; escalated case as well; at that point since they nor their escalation team could reach anyone, and due to all the time lapsing they switched my ticket to another contractor who came out on 05/26 and not only repaired it the same day, had all the control panels necessary to repair it with him. I have never experienced anything like this where a company has the lack of customer service to even return a call. A simple return call can go so far with a customer and get you return clients. The tech that came out was so nice and I do not fault him at all, it boils down to owner/management. They really must not care about their business or return clients.
