Originally signed contract to get roof replaced on 9/14/23. Paid deposit of $5000.00 on 9/14/23. Roof was replaced on 11/9/23. Balance of $5300.00 paid on 11/9/23. Total price quoted was $10000.00 and was to include all permits and inspections. The extra $300.00 was for additional wood and $100.00 of that was to add unrelated yard debris to the dumpster. The dispute is for the $100.00 extra fee to cover the dump fee as the unrelated yard debris never got taken away as well as the job not being completed. The final inspections have yet to be provided. I have repeatedly attempted to contact Stephen, the owner of the company, to discuss the final inspections and responses have varied from "I'll email it to you the next day" to no response at all. Stephen has not responded to any recent messages, including my last one sent on 5/13/24 stating to return call to me by the end of the day or I would have no choice but to file a complaint. That message was not returned, hence this complaint. I also attempted to reach out to the building inspectors with the city and per their automated phone operator, my permit reflects fees that are still due and the permit itself has expired, so I am unable to schedule the inspection I need to gain house insurance coverage. I am unable to get any coverage due to this roof inspection not being completed and that has cost me thousands of dollars in added fees with my mortgage because the bank has since added their own dwelling coverage to my monthly payment. My mortgage has more than doubled due to SAI Roofing's negligence. I need him to finish his end of this deal and get my paperwork sorted out without adding expense to me since it was supposed to be all inclusive and even if it weren't, he got me for an added dump fee that never was taken advantage of.
