A Waldorf inspired Preschool center that opened in 1998. For children 1-6 years during the school year and 1-9 years in the summer. We are open 7:45 am - 5:45 pm, with our program 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, with the option of extended care. Our morning follows a daily/weekly/yearly rhythm. each day has a different activity, which includes- sculpting, painting, a craft, bread making, gardening, sewing, sensory play, music and shiny day. During the rest of the morning the children will participate in a movement circle activity, story time, snack, outside play, inside imaginary play and lunch. We guide the children through their development by building skills in communication, problem solving, their words, motor skills,( both small and large) Sensory awareness, thinking and engaging their will in a positive manner. Our yearly rhythm revolves around the seasons and the festivals.
