Dr. John Lindgren graduated with distinction from Duke University. He received his D.M.D. degree from the prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine. While at Harvard, he was elected class representative and was awarded the J. Morita Award for research. Dr. Lindgren is a Board Certified Orthodontist, which is the highest educational achievement an orthodontist can obtain. Only 1 in 3 orthodontists ever achieve this status. A board certified orthodontist is an orthodontist who has voluntarily gone through hundreds of additional hours of preparation to demonstrate their judgment, skills and knowledge required for providing the highest level of patient care. He is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists as well as the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Lindgren continually takes continuing education courses in order to deliver the best treatment to his patients.
