I ordered my 12x20 garage on 04/22/22. Even after I was told their online ad was incorrect and the price increased another $1k since then. I was quoted 6-8 weeks for delivery. I paid half of the amount up front via credit card. As of 09/15/22, I still had not heard a thing about the garage. Much, much later than the quoted 6-8 week delivery time frame. I sent several emails and left several phone messages before somebody finally responded via text. The person who responded told me she assumed I had already received the building. The excuse I was given was "we did get a little bit behind due to covid and labor issues". Give me a break...2.5 years after the scamdemic began and they are still beating that horse. What a crock. But now she was aware of the delay and my order was magically sent to the builders. I was told somebody would contact me to arrange delivery within two weeks. On 10/03/22 and 10/04/22, I sent two follow up text messages since that's the only thing that elicits a response from this company. I said no building was ever delivered and nobody ever contacted me to arrange delivery. At this point, I demanded a refund for the nearly $3k I already paid as a deposit. Suddenly, another young woman contacted me and related she would resolve this matter personally for me. She remained in contact with me from 10/07/22 until 10/21/22, which was the agreed upon delivery date. I get a call from this young woman on delivery day, explaining to me their system is down and I would have to provide cash upon delivery. This sounded sketchy, and I explained that I was told 6 months earlier by another employee that I would be able to call and pay via credit card for the remaining amount. I offered to provide my card information and asked them to run it after their system was fixed. After that conversation, I received a call several minutes later from a man who claimed to be the business owner. I think he said his name is Tim. Tim is an arrogant joke of a human being. He immediately tells me I have to pay via cash or check upon delivery. I told him what was explained to me 6 months earlier about paying via credit card. He tells me 6 months ago is 6 months ago and things changed. And they would cancel the order if I did not agree to pay via check or cash upon delivery. I pleaded with him to work with me and he refused. So I laughed and said okay. I said I would provide a check to the driver. He immediately says now I have to pay cash because he doesnt trust me. Yeah right...like I'm going to now give this company I already hate nearly $3k in cash, so they can come after me later and tell the court I never paid them. Nice try. Credit card and check both provide proof of payment. Then he got angry I refused to pay cash, but related he would "take a chance" on me by accepting a check. He would text me the name on who to write the check out to. When I inquired if it would be to Timber Creek Structures, he said no. It would be to a personal account. Again, that sounds sketchy to me. But as long as I have a paper trail to confirm payment, I don't care what he does with the money. He seemed angry I was permitted to pay via card 6 months earlier, and was angry I refused to pay cash for the balance. It seems as if he tries to keep as many transactions as he can off of the books to avoid paying taxes. The only reason I'm providing one star for this review is because the woman who remained in contact with me until delivery (Lena), and both delivery drivers (Kevin and Eric) were extremely polite and helpful. The only reason I didn't cancel the order and sue them for a full refund (they try to keep 25% of the total if you cancel the order prior to delivery) is because I was counting on having a second garage before winter. At this point, I would have to wait until spring for a new one to be built and delivered. Thats due to Timber Creek Structures taking 6 months to deliver a garage they said would take 6-8 weeks. My advice to everybody is avoid this company at all costs! They are shady and have no idea how to run a business. They are a joke and should not be trusted. I will be posting this review as many places as possible to warn others about these scammers. And yes, I stand by what I promise. I don't think it will do much, but I'll be notifying the BBB as well.
