My name is Claire, which I've always loved because it means brightness, light, and clarity. These are all essential elements of photography, so I like to think I was destined to be a photographer from the start. I was born in France but grew up in the States; I now live in Utah (and travel wherever my work takes me). My passion for photography began when I acquired my first camera: I was thirteen, and it was a hand-me-down from my dad. I immediately started taking pictures of everything and anything. I haven't stopped since. I earned a BFA in photography from Brigham Young University and spent several years working with and learning from renowned photographers, including Jonathan Canlas.
