Amistad Counseling Services provides a unique counseling environment in that people are encouraged to feel comfortable and safe to deal with issues or situations that confront us all. People can be reminded of how tough times can be and how a vast majority of people have already done so well in dealing with those tough times in a positive and resilient manner. Services provided include Individual, Marital, and Family therapy. If the need arises, a particular form of group therapy can be provided depending on the number of participants willing to participate. Services are provided in a manner that includes a person's input based on their experiences and interpretations. Personal assets are valued and utilized in the counseling experience and resources that are utilized in session (e.g. music and literature) are made accessible to people outside the session.

The Disability Rights Advocates- mission is to ensure dignity, equality, and opportunity for people with all types of disabilities throughout San Antonio and South Texas. ADAPT OF SAN ANTONIO, advocacy work includes working with Bussiness on ADA Title 111 issue as well as all other areas of disability Law on behalf of people with all types of disabilities, including mobility, hearing, vision, learning and psychological disabilities. Through negotiation and litigation, ADAPT OF SAN ANTONIO is working with facilities throughout San Antonio and South Texas for accessible and will be working to enforced access rights for people with disabilities in many key areas of life, including access to technology, education, employment, transportation and health care.
