In 1998, Dr. Workeneh completed a Bachelor of Science at The University of Texas at Austin. After earning her medical degree in 2002, she completed a residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2005, where she specialized in Pediatrics. Dr. Workeneh is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. When she's not caring for patients, Dr. Workeneh enjoys playing basketball, skating with her children and fixing things around the house.

In 2019, board-certified pediatrician Deborah Martinez, MD, FAAP, earned her medical degree at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston, Texas, where she also completed her residency in 2023. Dr. Martinez served as pediatric chief resident in her final year of residency. Having witnessed her youngest sister spend two months in the hospital due to prematurity, Dr. Martinez was inspired to become a pediatrician to help families facing similar challenges. She cares for infants, children, and adolescents for a wide array of conditions illnesses like colds, ear infections, and chronic issues such as ADHD and allergies She also proactively manages developmental milestones, vaccinations, and behavioral concerns. Dr. Martinez joined Kelsey-Seybold in August 2023.

Dr. Melanie Ribbeck earned her Bachelor of Science in physics, graduating summa cum laude in 2014 at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She earned her medical degree at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2018. She completed her Pediatrics residency at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, in 2021. Dr. Ribbeck is board certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in March 2022.

Chuhan Carey Wang, MD, is a pediatrician who earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 2022. He relocated to Houston to complete an internship and the Pediatrics residency program at Baylor College of Medicine in 2023 and 2025, respectively. Dr. Wang joined Kelsey-Seybold's Pediatrics department in August 2025. He serves as a trusted partner and guide throughout his patients' journeys from birth to adulthood, providing thoughtful, personalized, and compassionate care, including preventive care. During illness, Dr. Wang works with his patients and their families to create customized care plans for acute conditions such as respiratory infections or chronic conditions like asthma.

Dr. Yip received her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 1987. She completed medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in 1991 and finished a residency in Pediatrics in 1994. In the summer of 2009, she earned a Masters of Medical Management. Dr. Yip is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of theTexas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society and Texas Pediatric Society. Active in sports, Dr. Yip tries to go swimming between three and five times a week.
