Dr Walker is very warm, personable and disarming. I enjoyed our first few sessions. It went downhill after that. Dr Walker is a good listener and let's you get everything off your chest. When she does interject, unlike most therapists, her input isn't constructive. At times she even seemed annoyed. During one session she told me to stop expecting my relationship with my mother to improve. I would rather she suggested family counseling OR let me come to that conclusion on my own. Telling me to give up was just heartless. My church is one of the few positive things that I have to look forward to. It helped me during my lowest times especially during this horrible year. Knowing this, she told me to find another church simply because their virtual services didn't allow members to interact. Well what church has members chatting during the sermon? That's discouraged during in-person services too.  To casually say, "find a new church" was shocking. It's almost malpractice. Bottom line, she has good intentions, but doesn't really seem to know how to help. I didn't gain any insights or helpful information from our sessions. I would not recommend.
