Rogue Passwords designs personalized, virtually uncrackable, secure passwords for personal & financial protection in a technological advancing world How many websites do we all use that require a password? How many of these websites do we all buy products, transmit mobile banking or manage financial investments? Amazon? Netflix? Pandora? Chase/Bank of America/Wells Fargo Banking? Online Grocery/Food delivery? Now, how many of us actually consider the type of password we create to keep all this personal and financial information safe and secret from outside prowlers? Do most of us even know what is actually a “safe and strong” password? More than likely if we thought it up ourselves, it is extremely weak and can be cracked in less than 1 day (on average). We spend more time planning vacations, choosing what car to buy or even taking upwards of 1 year to plan a wedding. So why do we not take the same safe approach to protecting our hard earned money and personal identity that can be stolen with a single key stroke on a computer nowadays! Truth is, passwords need 2 characteristics to deter hackers. First, they must be Unique ( meaning not available in any of the publicly available lists of previously hacked passwords). Second, they much contain a lot of “entropy” (simply this means that it would take a powerful computer a very long time to guess the password). Basically a high entropy password is a long password (or passphrase). Studies have shown that most people are not very good at thinking up unique, long passwords/phrases on their own. The reason is because we as humans tend to have similar behaviors and responses. We tend to select words, phrases that have some relation back to our own lives or general thoughts/ideas/statements/quotes that we have heard, used or seen though our daily lives. Just think about your current passwords....what do they relate to in your own life? They may seem abstract and random, but if we “thought” of it than it is never going to be random. That makes it crackable and leaves you very vulnerable. Rogue Passwords understands the world is getting more digital as the days go by and sooner than we all think, our lives will be managed through a computer/phone/tablet. Passwords are our only protection (our virtual safe)! How are you going to protect every thing you hold dear when they are scattered on many different websites, requiring different passwords? Are you really going to take the chance? Rogue Passwords’ proprietary system creates personalized cryptographically secure passwords to keep you safe & cost less than a daily cup of coffee
