The friendship hang out program is a phone buddy program where you can be matched with a caring volunteer who will call you on the phone and have friendly conversation and or do virtual activities with you. The warmline is available to anyone 24/7— you can text and talk to a volunteer about whatever is on your mind. Text the number 301-678-9659 and a volunteer will continue to talk to you through text or you can call or email them. The Anchor Heart Buddy Program is a friendship program, not meant as counseling. We are not professionals, just passionate supporters of those who feel isolated.
