Exploring a beautiful landscape can generate emotions of awe and admiration as we encounter the majesty of an unknown and novel place. I express such feelings by adding a surreal and magical feel to my artworks. The feminine figures in my artworks accentuate the boldness and elegance of delving into unknown, mysterious, and dreamlike territories. I discovered my own unique way of incorporating the awe of nature and the boldness of the feminine figure by incorporating real pieces of places I have travelled to into my artworks, through using genuine and precious materials such as seashells, sand, withered flowers and leaves, high quality glitter, and liquid gold to name a few. Through this kind of mixed media art I manage to create unique textures into my artworks that create a sense of kinetic and dynamic energy into my images. All the artworks are painted on high quality cotton deluxe stretched canvases.
