Overhauls: This repair work, along with a Restoration of your instrument, is the most complete work for bringing your instrument to its top playing level, as good or better than new. It includes all the work of a Clean/Oil/Adjust plus all new pads, all new cork and felt adjusters, any springs that need to be replaced, major mechanical work including swedging of keys, honing of hinge tubing, repair of binding mechanisms, and minor dent repair, and setting up key height and spring tensions. Restoration: This work includes all of the above plus major dent work, major soldering of keys, parts, and tone holes, realignment of instrument after major damage. Tune Up: This is play level repair, takes care of enough of the problems within your time or dollar budget to get your instrument playing well.
