Beware of doing business with Venture Capital Construction LLC based in Alpharetta, GA at your own risk! I had a contract to redo my deck with TREX and the terms of the contract written by Mr Steve Smith was to pay 1/2 of the cost before he started, 1/4 of the cost after he was half way finished, and then the final 1/4 of the cost after he finished. After providing half of the material and finishing half of the deck Mr Steve Smith never returned and has made himself unreachable after trying to contact him multiple times. I ended up having to buy the rest of the TREX material for the deck which is about the same amount of money that I would have had to pay him to finish the job plus I had to spend extra money to hire someone else to finish the job. The job was started in the end of October 2022 and I haven't been able to get him on the phone since then and this month is April 2023. This is my first time being scammed as a homeowner for repairs. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau which Mr Steve Smith hasn’t responded to and I’m in the process of taking him to Small Claims Court. Very bad business and fraudulent business!
