Eiro means Gods gift of wellness. Together, we are going to explore this gift! I grew up with a holistic approach to health. My parents opened a small health food store in 1979 in the front room of our home and it eventually morphed into A Harvest of Health Nutrition & Wellness Center. It was a natural fit for me and I began working there while still in high school. In 1999, I received my diplomas for both Doctor of Naturopathy and Master Herbalist from Trinity College of Natural Health. In 2018 I became board certified as a Doctor of Naturopathic (BCND) through the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board. (The state of Indiana does not license Naturopathic Doctors.) After 25 years of experience in the natural health industry, I have noticed an important trend: most women coming to see me are dealing with the effects of stress and burnout even if their primary symptoms seem unrelated. As we begin to address the nervous system, these women successfully improve their health emotionally, mentally and physically! Even though I had the knowledge of the effects of stress and burnout on the body, I ignored it. I am driven and a high achiever, an Enneagram #1 and I LOVE helping people! Eventually my driven personality caught up with me and I began experiencing severe allergies, fatigue, sore throat and muscle pain. It took years before I found the answers to my debilitating allergies through a woman that restored hope within me. That is when I began to recognize the emotional and mental connection with physical health! I still today must work hard to offset the effects of stress because I am very susceptible to it. This awareness and past experiences helped me empathize with women in a state of overwhelm with the physical, emotional and mental health. Eiro Wellness, LLC was born out of a desire to reach more women with the hope of healing!
