A completely free platform for parents to find sitters, nannies, tutors, educators, and childcare providers to find jobs. Tandem is the only free marketplace for care services that are revolutionizing the way that providers get paid. We connect families with reliably-vetted providers, and provide quality jobs to users; we want to create long-lasting relationships on the basis of trust. We know that finding providers can be stressful and time-consuming, so we strive to relieve that pressure for you. Our goal is to connect families with reliable sitters, nannies, and educators from all backgrounds, and to provide an easy, trustworthy means of payment. We empower parents to give their providers immediate access to their earnings. Tandem gives providers the opportunity to save, spend, or transfer their money all from our easy-to-use platform. Tandem values parent-provider equality; decisions should be made between the two parties, not by our organization. We allow the parent and provider communication outside of us once we have facilitated the connection. Parents decide what they want to pay their provider based on the particular scope of the job, and providers set their rate range so that we can easily pair the two. Our job is to match families with the best provider for their needs, encourage communication, and facilitate reliable payment!
